Selected lightning talks will be presented during the Summit in Boston, MA on October 23rd or 24th, 2025. Abstracts will be accepted on a rolling basis, and can include written abstracts, samples of work, or audio/video recordings describing a project. 

Submitted abstracts will be accepted on a rolling basis until Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:59pm ET.

If accepted, you will be notified by email.

DATA STORYTELLING & COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP STORIES

This year's theme is Unwavering Resistance: An Invitation to Beloved Community.

​

We welcome abstracts for presentations that fall into one or more of the following categories:

​

• Community Leadership Stories: Sharing experiences of leadership and community-driven action to reimagine, strengthen, and restore healthcare, public health, education, legal, social, community food and other systems that promote children’s well-being and prevent trauma.

​

• Data Storytelling Projects: Presenting research, community narratives, or advocacy initiatives that use data to tell a story about efforts to advance equity and wellbeing.

​

Guidance for Presenters:

​

• Community Leadership Stories are encouraged to incorporate visual aids, such as photographs, maps, or infographics, though they are not required.

​

• Data Storytelling Projects may include traditional research presentations, multimedia narratives, or community advocacy initiatives, and incorporate diverse forms of data.
